The counts below come from our research files, not from a full survey. A low count means we have verified fewer entries, not that a pocket lacks facilities.

Guide

Bandra West

Most of what our files record is in Bandra West, where 62 of our projects are located. Its social infrastructure is old and layered: convent schools, parish churches, heritage villages and a sea-front. Hill Road concentrates schools, churches, hospitals and shops on one arterial road, which makes it among the most self-contained corridors.

The localities file adds St Andrew's Church on Hill Road, a Tata Parsi agiary dating to 1873, and the Basilica of Our Lady of the Mount at Mount Mary, which hosts the Bandra Fair each September. Ranwar Village preserves Indo-Portuguese heritage houses.

Gaps and how to fill them

Our files have no verified hospital for Pali Hill or Carter Road, and no verified school for Bandra East beyond the international campuses. We also have no data on clinics, banks, post offices, community halls or public transport stops.

Before you buy, walk the area and map what you need within a comfortable distance.

  • Compare each category with the individual guides: schools, hospitals and parks.
  • Ask the building's existing residents what they use daily.
  • Check ward-level civic services, such as water supply and waste collection, with the housing society.

Connectivity as part of the picture

Good facilities need good access. The localities file notes Bandra station on the Western and Harbour lines, Metro Line 3 at Bandra Colony and BKC, and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, which starts at the WEH and SV Road intersection in Bandra and runs 5.6 km.
