The short answer

By road, a locality source (PropertyButler) puts BKC at 8 to 10 minutes from the Linking Road and Turner Road corridor. This is a single-source estimate and peak traffic can change it.
Metro Line 3 to BKC
The BKC station is on Line 3, and the next stations are Bandra Colony and Dharavi. It has exits near NSE and the Asian Heart Institute. Line 3 ridership was reported at about 150,000 a day in 2025 (Wikipedia, low confidence and possibly outdated), which is well below the projection, so trains may be less crowded than the headline numbers suggest.
A planned interchange with Metro Line 2B at the Income Tax Office station and with the BKC bullet train station is in our sources. Both are future items and their dates are tentative.

Road corridors
The Linking Road and Turner Road corridor is the main western approach, per the locality notes for Turner Road. From the east side, BKC borders Kala Nagar and the Western Express Highway, and locality notes mention a Chunabhatti-BKC flyover and the Santacruz-Chembur Link Road.

BEST buses
BEST restored routes 316, 317, 182, 183, BKC 1 and BKC 2 between Bandra station or terminus and BKC on 16 June 2022. Routes 182 and 183 are women-only, and BKC 1 and BKC 2 are AC services. Routes 303 and 310 were pending at that time (Free Press Journal, 2022).
We have not verified whether these routes run in 2026 or at what frequency. Check with BEST before planning a daily commute around them.
